Hi everyone! The current MFT Birthday Project challenge inspired me to create this Birthday card. I had this fun and colorful sequins in my stash which was a perfect match for a unicorn theme.
First I stamped the images from the Magical Unicorns set on Perfect Colouring paper and colored them with my copic markers.
- Blue: B93, B95, B97
- Pink: RV000, RV52, RV55
- Purple: BV00, BV02
- Yellow: Y18, Y13, Y11
After coloring, I ran the images through my die cutting machine with the coordinating dies. I also die cut a cloud border out of white cardstock and stamped the sentiment with Distress Oxide Shaded Lilac. For the background I adhered pattern paper from the Party Pattern paper pack to the card base. To dull it down a bit in the area of the main scene, I adhered vellum on top. For the shaker area, I popped up the frame with the acetate with craft foam. In the shaker area, I put all elements except the unicorn. After assembling the shaker area with the images and sequins, I finally adhered the unicorn. For some final touches, I put Wink of Stella on the wings and hair, and Stickles on the horn.
