Hoppy Holidays – Scalloped Box Card

Hi everyone! Recently I bought the Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up from Lawn Fawn and I couldn’t be happier! It is so much fun to work with this die. For my first card I decided to go with a Christmas theme with the Stamptember Snow Bunnies.

First I stamped all the images on Perfect Colouring paper with Mememto Tuxedo Black Ink. Then I colored them with my copic markers:

  • Trees: YG01, YG13, YG17, YG67, E55, E57
  • Scarfs, hat, presents: R24, R29, R59, Y13, Y18, YR24, YR04, Y18
  • Bunnies: E50, E51, E53, E55, R20, R22

After all the images were colored, I die cut them with the coordinating dies. I also stamped a bunch of snowflakes from the Yeti or Not stamp set on vellum and heat embossed them with white embossing powder. The base of the Scalloped Box I die cut out of white cardstock. For all the flaps, I die cut red cardstock, and pattern paper from the Snow Day Remix paper pack. For the sky, I ink blended Distress Oxide ink Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon and splattered Liquid Stardust on top.

For the inserts I wanted to have the look of snow banks. Therefore I die cut the inserts from Sugar Crystal cardstock. Now all my elements were ready and it was assembly time. If you are interested in how to assemble the Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up, I’m planning to create a video on this. I am a bit behind with my videos as my voice is still recovering from a bad cold. I hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!
