Fuzzy Hugs Underneath Northern Lights

Hi everyone! I’m so in love with this Fuzzy Hugs stamp set from Mama Elephant. The critters are just so cute! I couldn’t resist creating another card with them. However, this time I’m using the bunnies who are snuggling up below a winter sky.

For the ones interested, I have made a video on the coloring and card making process. If you like watching my videos, don’t forget to subscribe to my channel.

The background of this card is created with Distress Oxide inks and I was going for a northern light look. The colors I used are Shaded Lilac, Picked Raspberry, and Mermaid Lagoon. To add the effect of snow, I diluted white acrylic paint and splattered it on the background. After that, I set the background aside and let it dry.

In the meantime I stamped the bunnies from the Fuzzy Hugs stamp set on Perfect Colouring paper and colored them with my copic markers:

  • Left bunny: W0, W2, E50, R20, RV000, RV52, RV55, BG00, BG02, BG05, BG07
  • Right bunny: C0, C3, C5, R20, BV00, BV02, BV04, B93, B95, B97

Then from white cardstock I die cut the Winter Forest and adhered it on my ink blended background. The bunnies I also adhered with tacky glue and grounded them by coloring the ground underneath with my copics. As a finishing touch, I added polka dots to the scarf of the left bunny and added Stickles Frosted Lace to the snow.

It was really fun to create this card and I hope it gave you inspiration. Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!
