Hi everyone! As you may have noticed, I’ve been making a number of fall cards lately. I just love the colors of fall leaves and get inspired by them. The fall themed card for today features Hello Bluebird stamps. I’ve used 2 sets: Garden Friends, and Fairy Garden.
I stamped all the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with my copic markers. As this is a fall card, I choose more muted colors:
- Frog and leaves: YG93, YG95, YG97
- Mushrooms and ladybug: R24, R29, R59
- Other elements: YR000, YR01, YR20, YR21, UR24, YR27, YR04, YR07, Y18
After the coloring, I die cut the images with the coordinating dies for the Garden Friends and Fairy Garden set.
For the grass, I die cut white cardstock and ink blended Distress Oxide Ink Mowed Lawn and Cracked Pistachio. To create a fall looking sky, I used Distress Oxide Carved Pumpkin, and Mustard Seed, plus the MFT Cloud Stencil. Once the whole background scene was done, I adhered all the images with tacky glue and stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx Black ink. To finish of the card, I colored the eyes with a Glaze Gel pen and gave the eyes white pupils with a white gel pen.
