Hoi allemaal! Dit is mijn allereerste post voor Jocelijne Design! Het kaartje van vandaag is gemaakt met de nieuwe stempelset ‘Borre the Puppy’ (6410/0519). Zijn de hondjes niet super schattig?
Hi everyone! As this blog is for a dutch brand called Jocelijne Design, I wrote it both in English and Dutch. This is my first post as part of the design team! I’m very excited to work with this amazing brand. Today’s card has been made with the new stamp set called ‘Borre the Puppy’ (6410/0519). How adorable are these cuties?!
Als eerste stempelde ik de hondjes met Memento Tuxedo Black ink en kleurde ik ze in met copic markers. Daarna knipte ik ze uit en ging ik aan de slag met het uit stansen van alle andere elementen. Het hekje, de bloemetjes, het gras en het gietertje, zijn van de ‘Tumble Friends Farm’ set (6002/1193). Het hondenhok heb ik gemaakt met behulp van de Build-A-House die set van Lawn Fawn.
First I stamped the dogs with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with my copic markers. After this, I fussy cut them and moved on to die cutting all the different elements for this card. The fence, flowers, grass, and watering can are from the ‘Tumble Friends Farm’ set (6002/1193). I used the Build-A-House die set from Lawn Fawn to create the dog house.
Voor de lucht heb ik gebruikt gemaakt van de MFT Cloud stencil en Distress Oxide Ink Tumbled Glass. Dit was ook meteen de kaart basis en daarop heb ik alle elementen geplakt. Het hondenhok heb ik met foam tape bovenop het hondje bevestigd om het meer diepte te geven. Nu ziet het er meer uit dat het hondje echt in het hok zit. Als laatste heb ik nog highlights aangebracht met een witte gel pen. Dit maakt echt een wereld van verschil.
For the sky, I used the MFT Cloud stencil and Distres Oxide Ink Tumbled Glass. After this it was assembly time. I adhered the dog house with foam tape on top of the dog, to give the illusion the dog is really in the house. As a finishing touch, I added highlights in a couple of places. This really makes all the elements pop from the card.
