Lawn Fawn Build a House in Autumn

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing 2 fall themed Build-A-House cards with you. By using different Distress Oxides for the background, and different colored cardstock, you get a completely different look! For the non-Dutch readers: The sentiment on the card says “Gefeliciteerd met jullie nieuwe woning” which means “Congratulations on your new home”.

For the card making process check out my video below or hop over to my channel. If you like watching my video’s, do not forget to subscribe.

For the background of the pink colored house, I used Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, and Mustard Seed. For the other background I used Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, and Mustard Seed. For the grass I used Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron.

From some left over cardstock of the ink blended background, I die cut a bunch of leaves. That die is part of the Birch Tree die set which I also used to cut out the trees from Speckled Eggshell cardstock. From that same cardstock, I also die cut the base of the house. The other elements like the door and windows, I die cut out of peacock and guava cardstock which is part of the Rainbow Pack. All the die cut elements are part of the base Build-A-House set from Lawn Fawn, except for the door which is from the Christmas Add-On.

As I wanted to heat emboss the sentiment with white embossing powder, I stamped it with VersaMark Ink. This sentiment is from a Dutch brand called Carlijn Design. To finish of the card, I added Glossy Accents to the windows to make them a bit more realistic.

I hope you like these card and it gave you inspiration. Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!
