Hi everyone! Recently I received my package with the Stamptember Snow Bunnies set from Lawn Fawn and I thought the bunny with the scarf was very cute. That bunny inspired me to create a fall themed card with the bunny having its own vegetable or carrot garden.
For this card I used quite a lot of different stamp sets and dies, and I just love how it worked beautifully together. To start, I stamped one bunny and a bunch of carrots from the Snow Bunnies set, and the other bunny is from Butterfly Kisses. I colored everything with my copic markers:
- Bunnies: YR20, YR21, YR000, YR01, YR02
- Scarf: YG93, YG95, YG97
- Carrots: YR04, YR27, YG95, YG97
After coloring there was a lot of die cutting involved. Basically all pattern paper on this card is from the Fall Fling pack, which I absolutely love. From that paper pack I die cut the grass, the mushrooms, and the foliage of the trees. The birch trees themselves and the stems of the mushrooms are die cut from the Speckled Eggshell cardstock. I really feel the mushrooms add a lot to the fall look. These are from a dutch brand called Jocelijne Design.
To get even more of a fall feeling, I used Distress Oxide Inks to blend a beautiful fall looking background. The colors I used are: Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, and Mustard Seed. To add more interest to the background, I sprayed water with Perfect Pearls on top. After that was dry, I assembled the card and added dimension in a couple of places using foam tape.
