Hi everyone! Distress Oxide Inks have been on my wishlist for quite some time now. Recently I finally bought a beautiful collection of colors. I love how much you can do with the Oxide Inks. Today I wanted to try stamping with the Oxide Inks. There is this gorgeous set from Sunny Studio Stamps with fall leaves and this set was perfect for the idea I had in mind.

First I stamped the sentiment as I wanted to make sure the leaves wouldn’t go in the sentiment area. For the sentiment I created an ombre look with 2 colors: Candied Apple for the bottom, and Carved Pumpkin for the top. From the stamp set I chose 2 solid leaves and 2 outlined leaves to stamp everything with. For all the leaves, I first stamped them partially with 1 color, wiped of the stamp, and stamped it again with the other color. Next to the same colors for the sentiment I also used Mustard Seed and Mowed Lawn.

I really love how the stamping turned out, it really looks as if the leaves are changing to the beautiful fall colors. To add a bit more interest, I also splattered the Oxide Ink on the card but I made sure the sentiment itself stayed clean by putting a piece of paper on top. And that finishes of the card!
This card is quite easy to make and I hope it gave you inspiration for working with Oxide Inks and the beautiful Elegant Leaves stamp set. Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!
