Rainbow Ice Cream with Heffy Doodle

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a rainbow ice cream card with Heffy Doodle stamps and dies! I love how colorful and happy this card turned out to be.

To create the card, I first stamped 4 ice creams of the ‘Treat Yo-Self‘ stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. For the coloring I used the following copic markers:

  • Orange: YR04, YR07, Y18
  • Yellow: Y11, Y13, Y18
  • Teal: BG10, BG11, BG13
  • Pink: RV000, RV52, RV55
  • Cone: E50, E51, E53

For the background I created the rainbow by blending 4 Distress Inks: Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Salty Ocean, and Seedless Preserves. To get a seemless blend, it is important to go back and forth between the colors.

For the sentiment I die cut the word ‘Celebrate‘ out of Neenah Solar White cardstock and also once out of craft foam. I glued the two together with tacky glue to create dimension. To get a glossy finish, I coated the sentiment with Glossy Accents.

I also adhered the ice creams to the card with foam squares to add more dimension. And as a finishing touch, I added Nuvo Drops in a couple of places on the background.

I hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!
