Hi everyone! These panda’s from Mama Elephant are just too adorable! I especially like the little kung fu like panda’s. When you make a card with these panda’s, the card does not need much else. So for this card, I really wanted the panda’s to be the hero on the card without too much distraction from other elements.

The cards I’m sharing today have the same basic design, so the process was also the same. To start I stamped the panda’s with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah Solar White paper. To color them, I used the following copic markers:
- Greens: YG01, YG13, YG17
- Browns: E31, E55, E57
After all the coloring was done, I used the coordinating dies to die cut them. For the background, I masked off the bottom piece. With my blending brush I applied Distress Oxide Twisted Citron on the cardstock. To add some interest, I also diluted a bit of the ink with water and created splatters on the background.

For the sentiment, I used a ‘Happy Birthday‘ from Lawn Fawn. For one of the cards, I first adhered a strip of black glitter cardstock below the green background before stamping the sentiment. For that card, I also adhered the panda’s with foam squares to add dimension. And for the other card, I glued the panda’s directly to the background. For the card with the black glitter, I also added some glitter with Wink of Stella to some of the panda’s to tie it to the glitter strip.

So these are 2 cards with the same basic design and a small element that is different. I’m curious to hear which one you like the most! Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!
