Hi everyone! I am absolutely in love with these cute jungle animals from Hello Bluebird. I actually made this card earlier, but could not post it yet, because the recipient did not receive it yet. But now that it has, I am very excited to share this card with you.
First I stamped, colored and die cut the images with the coordinating dies. The main Copic colors used are:
- Y11, Y13, Y18
- E55, E57, E59, E00, E13, E31
- YG01, YG13, YG17, YG67
To create the actual layout for the scene, I chose to work with the gallery frame die. For the border, I ink blended Distress Oxide Twisted Citron on Neenah Classic Crest Solar white. And to create my own pattern paper, I stamped the leaves with VersaMark ink and brushed Perfect Pearls on top. This gives a subtle pattern with a nice shine.
For the background of the scene, I ink blended Distress Ink Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade. To add dimension, I popped up the gallery frame die with foam tape and adhered some images with foam tape, others I glued to the card.
