Hi everyone! This is my first card ever using Hello Bluebird stamps! I bought a couple of sets a few weeks back, but haven’t had time to play with them earlier. They were on my wish list for a while already, but not that easy to get in The Netherlands. Anyway, now that I have them you’ll be seeing more cards in the next weeks featuring Hello Bluebird.

In this card I’m featuring the Bee Happy stamp set which I think is very cute! I started by stamping the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored everything with my Copic Sketch markers. The colors I used: Y11, Y13, Y18, C9, C5, C3, C1, B00, BG10.
After all the coloring was done, I die cut the bees with the coordinating dies. To add shine to the eyes, I went over them with a 3d glaze gel pen and added white dots with a gel pen to make the eyes pop.

For the background I used a honeycomb stencil from a Dutch brand called Dutch Doobadoo. I blended Distress Ink Mustard Seed over the stencil for the hexagon pattern. The sentiment I stamped with Versamark ink on black cardstock and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. To frame the main scene I used pattern paper from the Spring Fling pack from Lawn Fawn.
And that finishes up the card! I hope you like it and it gave you inspiration. Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!
