Hi Everyone! When I saw the new summer release of Lawn Fawn I was so excited! One of the things I just had to have was the center picture window die. As soon as I could, I got my hands on it and created this beautiful card in combination with the Butterfly Kisses stamp set.

One of the things I love about the window card is that it is so versatile: you can use it with stamps you already have, and you can be creative with the layout like I did!

Now let’s dive in the card making process. For the assembly of the card I advise you to watch the youtube video as it is much easier to show how it works in a video than in writing.
I stamped all the images with VersaFine Onyx Black ink on Strathmore paper and colored them with my Mijello Mission Gold watercolors. Since I wanted to use the Spring Fling paper, I choose coordinating colors: blue, yellow, green, and pink. For the background of the scene, I ink blended Distress Ink Tumbled Glass over an MFT cloud stencil.
After the coloring, it was time for a lot of die cutting. I die cut all the images and elements for the center picture window card. For the center of the card I decided I did not want the standard oval shape, but I wanted it to be open. That is why I die cut 3 pieces of grass for the base. For the sentiment I used the wavy banners set.

With the net the fox is holding I combined the stamped image with a die cut net from vellum. Behind the vellum I glued a butterfly. Now it looks as if the fox has caught it!
Now all the little pieces for the card where done and it was assembly time! I adhered all the background pieces with double sided tape, the sentiment with foam tape, and the images with tacky glue.
And that finishes the card! I had so much fun creating it and can’t wait for another round. I hope you liked it and it gave you inspiration!
