Card | Geeky Cat Graduation

Hello everyone! If you have been following me for a longer time, you know I’m a big fan of cats. This stamp set of Gerda Steiner contains really cute cats, and one of them is geeky! I thought this one would be perfect for a graduation card.

I stamped the cat and books with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and colored them with Distress Inks. For the background I created my own pattern paper with a brick stencil from Tim Holtz and blending Distress Inks over it.

As I don’t have a bookmark die, I cut it to this design myself. On the top half I glued the cat, and on the bottom half I stamped the sentiment which is from Lawn Fawn. To add some dimension, I adhered the bookmark with foam tape to the flower pattern paper. Then with double sided adhesive I adhered the whole to the card base. And that finishes up the card! Hope you like it!
