Hi! Lettuce celebrate! My card for today features guinea pigs and lettuce confetti. I think they are adorable and funny pets. Lucky for me, I found a guinea pig stampset.

To make the card, I started by blending Distress Inks over a stencil for the background. I used the colors Mowed Lawn, Mustard Seed, and Spiced Marmalade. For the main front of the card, I die cut 3 circles where you would be able to see the background and guinea pigs peeking through. Now that I knew where my circle windows would be, I could stamp the sentiments in place.

Then I started working on the guinea pigs themselves. I stamped them on watercolor paper and colored them with Distress Inks Antique Linen, Vintage Photo, and the noses with Worn Lipstick. Now it was time to assemble the whole card front. I first placed the guinea pigs with foam tape at the back, and then positioned the white front with the circles, also with foam tape. To finish the card front, I added sequins to make it pop a bit more.

For the inside of the card, I colored pieces of lettuce in confetti colors and adhered them with tacky glue. For the sentiment I wrote ‘Celebrate’ myself. So the sentiment as a whole reads ‘Wheek! Lettuce celebrate’.
